Knighton Normal School

Before and After School Programmes

The Knighton After School Programme (KASP) offers a safe, caring and convenient place for children to go before and after school. KASP is an Incorporated Society operated by parents (not the school).  The trained staff provide a stimulating and varied programme which encourages children to try new experiences, mix in a variety of social situations and generally have fun.

KASP operates on the school property between the hours of 3.00 p.m. and 5.45 p.m. every school day.

The Before School Programme operates between 7.00 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. every school day and offers breakfast of cereal and/or toast with juice or milo.

Due to the popularity of the programmes and limited space, it is necessary to book children in early.  A waiting list does operate.  There is a fee charged for attendance.

Further information about KASP or the Before School Care Programme may be obtained from the school office or phone KASP 856 8677 or 022 642 0726 after 2:30 p.m. Click here to download the KASP booklet with general information and the fee structure KASP 2017 info and form.pdf
