- The school also teaches fundamental sporting skills throughout all classes as part of the Health and Physical Education curriculum.
- Jump Jam, an aerobic exercise to music programme, also occurs twice weekly throughout the school and the PMP programme which develops motor skills, dexterity and coordination operates in the junior school.

- The children proudly wear our new sporting uniforms.
- We have been celebrating our new turf. A fantastic resource for our whole school sports and PE programme, this is used regularly through the school day and before and after school for sports teams and after school care activities.
- We are also enjoying our new PE shed, it’s accessibility and the extra storage that it provides.
- We also provide sports exchanges with other schools allowing a great number of children to participate with a ‘Knighton Way’ competitive spirit.
- We are very proud of our children who participated in the true Knighton Way and won the Top Schools event in 2010 and 2011. This is an event that demands team work and sportsmanship as a major factor.
