Each year around forty of our Year Six students carry out the important role of being road patrollers. These children, along with the duty teachers have the responsibility of ensuring our children cross the roads safely before and after school.
All road patrollers need to go through a training session with the Police. This is done near the end of their Year Five year.
The road patrollers are then assigned one of three crossing duties at the school that they on one given day each week.
The traffic warden team are year five students who cross children either on Dey Street or the Henry Street island.
The commitment and skill level of these students is fantastic and they are rewarded at the end of the year by being invited to the Mega Pool Party run by the Police.
